Ibrahim Olawoyin has been called up to replace Nathan Tella in Nigeria's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic. Tella withdrew for family reasons, prompting Coach Finidi George to extend the invitation to Olawoyin. The Super Eagles, currently third in Group C, are set to play key matches in June 2024.
